Another step towards cashless society you discuss.

Cash deposits will be limited to account owners or authorized signers

What is happening

To help reduce criminal activity and protect your account, we'll be making changes to our policy for cash deposits made at Wells Fargo branches.

Once our policy takes effect in a few weeks, we'll only accept cash deposits into your Wells Fargo Consumer checking or savings accounts if it is coming from an account owner or authorized signer.

What you should know

If a non-account owner needs to deposit money into your account, they can deposit a check, cashier's check or money order, or use a person-to-person payment service like Zelle®.

All customers will need to provide identification to make cash deposits.

• Wells Fargo ATM or debit card holders may use their card and their Personal Identification Number (PIN) to confirm their identity when making deposits.

• Customers who do not have a Wells Fargo ATM or debit card may present a valid driver's license, state or federal government-issued ID card, passport, or other similar picture ID.

If you have questions, please ask a banker in your branch, or call us at 1-800-869-3557, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Hi James,

This is a 15 second youtube video about a rat that I think has more survival skills than a lot of New Yorkers here. Smiling...

Of course, there is a THIRD way...

Anyway, I listened to the bullying podcast most attentively, and found myself agreeing with everything.

That link sexual utopia in power is a really good read. Here's part one for free.

I've realized what the Boomer problem really is, listening to this lazy-assed millennial victim talking about the "problems that his generation faces" and how he feels "hopeless", blaming his problem on "the schools", how "demoralized" he is, how "hard" things are, about his "psychological" problems, about how his "teachers" fucked him up and about how "pissed off" he is and his money isn't worth anything.

You lazy, victimized fuck. You've got material shit you use EVERY FUCKING DAY in your life that we could only have dreamed of - people using $800 smart phones to check their EBT balance, handfuls of oxycodone, everyone driving their own cars, eating out 4 days a week, able to sit around on your parents' dime and not do shit except thumb your phone and complain about how bad everything is, and how it's no use doing anything because they've been so mind-fucked and that's just the way it is.

With every word this 21st century pussy says, he's actually VALIDATING what the people he's running down say about him and his kind. I can take him to a hundred people his age right now that don't buy into his "well, it's no use because I can't make any real money, so I guess I'll just whine and moan and do nothing" rap, and are out there learning skills, making money, buying houses on the same terms I did, raising families and teaching them right (fuck the schools, that's no excuse, we had the same liberal weenies teaching us, and we worked around them).

Be down on Boomers all you want, but we're the ones that make this whiney asshole's ability possible to sit around and do nothing and still eat and have a warm place to crap and make videos about how "hard" his life is ....

As much as I suspect Banks of screwing with us and trying to control our lives, I don't think that this "change" is a bad one.

It's basically (quoting from the notice)

"Once our policy takes effect in a few weeks, we'll only accept cash deposits into your Wells Fargo Consumer checking or savings accounts if it is coming from an account owner or authorized signer."

Nothing unreasonable or controlling about that. It just says that strangers can't show up at the bank with a wad of cash and deposit it, if they're not a customer. I'd do the same if I were running a bank. I don't owe non-customers a damn thing if I'm running a business.

It's like saying that you can't use the bathroom in a restaurant if you're not buying anything. Fine by me.

BUT we need to keep our eyes open, there are real threats to come. Thanks for the vigilance.
