JAN/31/20
Monday 27
7:30—8:30 AM: split wood
9:00 AM: 3 sausages, cup cauliflower, cup broccoli
2:05-4:17 PM: hiked 8 miles in hoodrat attire
6:30 PM: codfish with cabbage, cauliflower and butter, handful of pepperoni and cheese, 4 lite beers
Tuesday 28
11:10 AM to12:15 PM: split wood
12:30: cup of sausage pieces, 1ounce cheese
7:00 PM: plate of beef roast with steamed cabbage, broccoli, celery and half stick of butter, ¼ ounce pork rinds, 4 lite beers
Wednesday 29
9:45 AM: 10 slices of salami, 2 ounces almonds, 2 ounces pumpkin seeds
11:00-11:45 AM: split wood
12:15 PM: ate 2 slices of the Colonel’s wife’s rum cake—so much for skipping the hike because of the heavy rain
12:24-2:06 PM: hiked 6 miles
6:30 PM: 2 cups beef, 2 cups cabbage and broccoli, 5 lite beers, ¼ ounce pork rinds
Despite drinking all this beer my waistline has lost ½ inch. I think when I get back to dollar store eating I’ll be able to drop 2 inches in 6 weeks.
Thursday 30
I want to take off walking today because the new boots are rubbing the left heel but the dogs are literally lying on the trailer steps whining for a run in the hills…
8:30-9:30 AM: wood splitting and other chores, hereafter chores
12:56-3:59 PM: 7.5 mile hike in shorts and sweatshirt, no rain, ran the inclines, Amos, the big dog had a hard time keeping up—poured down rain as soon as I got back, saw the Olympias on the way back from Page’s Flats, a depression that is 10 degrees cooler than the same elevation at the front of the cut.
6:30 -10:00 PM: 2 big bowls of raw radish, lettuce, cabbage, celery with vinegar, walnuts, 5 spicy meatballs and feta cheese, ¼ ounce pork rinds, 5 lite beers
Amos’s front right shoulder is stoved up and he is limping so no walk on Friday—he will whine to go—so I will rest and fast until 6 PM Friday and start week 5 in the evening.
Friday Notes
Its pouring, for 26 straight days of rain.
My vertigo has gotten more severe after the run, with loud ringing in both ears constant

I see: so you didn't really get off the grains, you simply displaced them into a liquified form.
James     Feb 4, 2020

I don't lose weight while drinking alcohol. All of my weight loss has been while not drinking. The liquid grain seems to keep me weight stable. The solid grain messes up my digestion.

When I get to Portland I'm going to try and lose 30 pounds eating out of the dollar store.
