‘If Past is Prologue’
S.S. Sam Comes Through with Another Uplifting Title.

JUN/3/16
Two days ago, I came down the stairs to fill my coffee pot and saw a package from the S.S. compound in Montana. Opening it, I found this brief, handwritten letter.
“Hi James,
Catchy title, isn’t it. Some interesting stuff. I like the description of the Iroquois going out ‘looking for a village to eat.’ If past is prologue, this is what will be going on when the welfare checks. Run out."
Cheers,
Sam
To my delight, I found within, this title: Cannibalism, Headhunting and Human Sacrifice in North America. Subtitles in two parts: A History Forgotten; A Vivid Account of the Barbaric Practices of Both Native Americans and European Explorers and Colonists.
Looking at the back and checking the author’s bio, I was thrilled to discover that George Franklin Feldman is highly qualified to write about cannibalism, headhunting and human sacrifice, for he “had a successful career in broadcasting, politics and business.”
Thank you, Sam.
P.S. I thought the thunderbolt shoulder insignia would look better in purple than in red.
