‘A Feather Bed’
Right Lady on the Left Coast on Surrendering Womanly Dignity to the State

Sorry to clog your inbox, but I just finished scanning headlines and my facebook, and all I see is complaints about the Stanford rapist. In case you haven't heard, a Stanford student and star swimmer raped a girl behind a dumpster, was convicted and was sentenced to 6 months in jail. The light sentence has people outraged. I agree it is a light sentence and a disgusting crime. The bonus for these people is that he is an actual white guy, in contrast to the dozens of rapes perpetrated by black college football players, also often lightly punished, or even not prosecuted, those stories are totally boring.
The part of the story that is driving me up the wall is that the girl was blackout drunk. Passed out, no signs of life, totally unconscious. I have two daughters, and according to my social group on facebook, I am not supposed to teach them to avoid becoming blackout drunk. That is misogyny. Girls should be free to poison themselves to the point of complete incapacitation and expect perfect safety. They show a complete disregard for their own safety, appearance and dignity, and society is supposed to provide a feather bed in a secure location for them to sleep it off.
Women are not allowed to know that the average man on the street is stronger than 99% of women (this is a fact, not exaggeration), that male high school athletes beat Olympic female athletes, and that getting drunk puts them in danger, regardless of the existence of rapists. Talk about the lies of civilization.
Here is a question for you - survivor of many head injuries: What is the difference in the damage done by a concussion compared with losing consciousness via alcohol consumption? From a medical point of view, it seems like getting general anesthesia is now comparable to a concussion, and that these types of brain traumas are cumulative. I have never had a concussion or been drunk enough to pass out, but I have been put under a few times. What do you think?
My stomach was never strong enough to permit me to get blackout drunk and, well I’m going on 30 concussions and quit school on my 16th birthday, so let’s throw this question to a dude that spent 30 years in school and could fry my brain just by thinking if both of our minds were submerged in a think tank… His answer will appear as a separate article, Lynn.
Thanks.
