Shayne’s Anthem
The Nightwatchman - Until the End

This coming September, Shayne, Ishmael and I will be going into the Rockies in search of insight into the legend of a long-dead and oft-alleged cannibal. As the only one of us three to have served in combat, and being a hardnosed realist who is busily killing and freezing all of God’s critters he can so that I might dine in Paleolithic style, he’s the man we’ll look to if something really horrible happens—like me being attacked by five mohawked lesbians behind a Wyoming diner.
Below is Shayne’s favorite song, which he sent us a link to—really wanting me to listen to it. I am glad I did and really like this subversive vibe. Kind of makes me want to watch a C-130 drop a daisy cutter on Harm City from a wooded mountaintop.
Come to think of it, if some Gotham-spawned terrorist shows up at a nightclub where this man’s listeners congregate, I don’t think the Jihadist will get a chance to slap in that second clip…
