The most beautiful magazine out there is, in my opinion, MUZZLELOADER, the Publication for Traditional Black Powder Shooters. There are more authentic depictions of Eastern Woodland Indians in this publication than in any of the current history books featuring mixed race natives demonstrating the feminist arts of ancient America.
One of the numerous excellent cover artists is Kyle Carroll, who did the cover for the January-February 2016 issue, and has an online gallery at the link below.

That guys a great painter.

It just occurred to me that people who appreciate frontier stories would like "The Revenant (2015 film)". Maybe it was here I heard about it. I thought it was good.
