At the Violence Guy’s office/bedroom/kitchen/closet is seems to be Christmas time every week, with parcels delivered by Darla, my personal representative at the Coppertone Post Office.
Enclosed within the latest package is the Wheel of Time by Carlos Castaneda. Sam apologized for procuring me a copy in which a previous reader had underlined many passages. However, this is of interest to me, as this same hand made an inscription I what I suspect might be Sanskrit. This inscription, together with this readers attention to numbers in the text leads me to suspect he was a numerologist.
In the accompanying letter, in his flowing Waffen S.S. cursive, Sam noted that at the local 7-11—which I did not realize franchised in Argentina—there were umbrellas for sale with “brass knuckle style plastic handles,” which ‘looked fairly effective.”
Thank you, Sam, I have already read a few passages and expect to use it as an inspirational reference.
