‘The Lens of Violence’
Latina Lynn on Robert E. Howard, Greg Cochran, John Hawks and Some Crackpot

Yesterday Greg Cochran called out REH as a better source for anthropological history than an academic in the field. Cochran's blog posts tend to be cryptic, he likes to leave riddles. He also writes for a fairly highly informed layman audience. And he writes whatever randomly strikes his mood, rather than explaining concepts step by step. With all these caveats, he is the best geneticist out there. When you want the latest on Neanderthals and other genetic history, Cochran is your guy, also John Hawks, especially for videos and lectures.
I think you and Cochran are a lot alike, and would definitely invite both of you to an imaginary dinner party to see what would happen. He frequently drops references to REH's writing in his blog posts, talks about getting in fights, views history primarily through the lens of violence, is extremely knowledgeable about military history, shows inordinate interest in human breeding, etc. I could see using your personalities in a reinterpretation of Jekyll and Hyde. Two grouchy old men teaming up to save the world through violence and eugenics, presented like in fight club, so you reveal at the end they are the same guy. Maybe I will give that some more thought.

Hybrid vigor is recognizable in the Black population, and the Latino too, dare I say that Caucasian blood flows there!
