One Tough Old Dame
2nd suspect arrested in connection to attack on Baltimore councilwoman

Jeremy, in the article below do note that this lady was attacked in the single most affluent location in Baltimore City, beneath the high rise where owners of ball teams and their star players reside. Jim Palmer—a really big dude—used to shop at the store where I worked five blocks off from here. As a working class white who labored for 12 years in this neighborhood and saw my local friends driven out of paid off homes by skyrocketing real estate taxes, I see this as a good sign. For although old Rikki might be able to resist these Dindu youth, the typical 35-year-old male hipster shall fall like ripe grain before the Reparations Scythe. I am glad she is okay, but I trust that the Dindu hordesmen will not be dissuaded and will double down on their siege of South Baltimore. Jayne Miller is a tough broad herself, who actually does investigative reporting. Next to Justin Fenton of the Sun Paper she is probably the best crime reporter in Harm City.

BALTIMORE —
Baltimore police arrested a second suspect Sunday in the assault and robbery of Baltimore City Councilwoman Rochelle “Rikki” Spector on Friday.
Officers said the 13-year-old suspect was arrested at a family member's home and was charged with attempted robbery and assault charges.
Spector, 80, was assaulted at about 10:15 a.m. in an apparent carjacking attempt in the parking garage at Harborview, located in the unit block of Pierside Drive in south Baltimore, police said.
Two suspects approached Spector as she entered her car, then threw her to the ground and beat and punched her before stealing her car, police said.
Baltimore Police Commissioner Kevin Davis said Spector resisted her attackers. He said she is in good spirits. She was treated and released from a hospital.
"(She sustained) non-life-threatening injuries, thank God, but she was struck in the face with a fist by this young man at least once or twice, and she sustained some bruises and contusions to her face," Davis said.
Police said that because the garage has a security-controlled gate, the suspects were not able to exit the garage with the car. Two employees working inside the garage saw the incident occur and detained one of the suspects until police arrived.
Police said the first suspect in custody is a 15-year-old boy. The second suspect ran from the scene, police said...
