Modern Western people tend to discount the importance of correct worship. They imagine that because there are so many different religions it must not really matter to the Almighty how you pray. Oh yeah, you sure about that? We do know that God tests people and that Satan is the Prince of the World. So there is much disinformation being promulgated. Imagine you hired a DJ for a party and he refused to play the music you told him you wanted to hear. In fact he deliberately kept playing the very songs you absolutely cannot stand to listen too. Would you reward him? Probably not. So how do you imagine God feels about people playing the wrong “music”? Likewise the Islamic Jihadists are not confused about what is the correct way to worship God, and what is not. They believe that God has no son and it’s the sin of “shirk” to believe that he does. They believe God wants them, the true believers, to show some initiative in suppressing all this incorrect worship out in the world. They’re going to put a stop to the bad music. Merry Christmas! Shirk: In Islam, shirk (Arabic: شرك‎‎ širk) is the sin of practicing idolatry or polytheism, i.e. the deification or worship of anyone or anything other than the singular God i.e. Allah. Literally, it means ascribing or the establishment of "partners" placed beside God. It is the vice that is opposed to the virtue of Tawhid (monotheism).[1] Those who practice shirk are termed mushrikun. Within Islam, shirk is an unforgivable crime if it remains unpardoned before death: Allah may forgive any sin if one dies in that state except for committing shirk. The word širk comes from the Arabic root Š-R-K (ش ر ك), with the general meaning of "to share".[4] In the context of the Quran, the particular sense of "sharing as an equal partner" is usually understood, so that polytheism means "attributing a partner to Allah". In the Qur'an, shirk and the related word mušrikūn (مشركون), — those who commit shirk and plot against Islam — often refer to the enemies of Islam (as in verse 9.1–15). (Wikipedia).

Kafir: (Arabic: كافر‎‎ kāfir; plural كفّار kuffār; feminine كافرة kāfirah) is an Arabic term (from the root K-F-R "to cover") meaning "unbeliever", or "disbeliever". [1][2] The term[1] alludes to a person who rejects or disbelieves in God and the teachings of the Islamic Prophet Muhammad,[3] and denies the dominion and authority of God;[4] or otherwise does not heed the beliefs and prescriptions held by the religion of Islam. Unbelief is called kufr. Kafir is sometimes used interchangeably with mushrik (مشرك, those who commit polytheism), another type of religious wrongdoer mentioned frequently in the Quran and Islamic works.[5] The practice of declaring another self-professed Muslim a kafir is known as takfir.
