“Let them hate, as long as they fear.”
- Lucius Accius Telephus, Roman Tragic Poet, 170-86 B.C.
Say it isn’t so! Gosh, I know so many my fellow Americans have been dreaming of lying out on the beach in Iran and looking at all the pretty girls (if they are pretty girls) covered from head to foot in black cloth, not drinking any booze, being subject to imprisonment on trumped up charges and all the rest of that fundamentalist revolutionary Muslim diversity. People are trying to sneak into Iran all the time, aren’t they?
Conversely why would anyone from a wonderful, peaceful place like the Islamic Republic of Iran want to travel to a stupid, evil, racist, materialistic, oppressive and heathen place like the United States of America? Any Iranians with relatives in the USA should do what the Irish did 169 years ago whenever family members announced their intention to travel to America: hold a wake for them. For it was a certainty they’d never see their loved ones alive again once they set foot in that wicked place.
Jeremy, you know that this makes Trump—so far—the only President in my lifetime not to reverse campaign promises on taking office. This is huge.

“She said: “Our goal with the administration is to show value at the UN and the way that we'll show value is to show our strength, show our voice, have the backs of our allies and make sure that our allies have our back as well. “For those that don't have our back, we're taking names, we will make points to respond to that accordingly.”

– General Douglas MacArthur
“Display the will to win by your actions, words, tone of voice, by your appearance and by the look in your eyes. Pay no attention to the noise, the smoke, the explosions, the screams of the wounded, the dead lying around you. This is normal in combat.”
- LTG Harold G. Moore
“An audacious decision can be arrived at by one man only.”
- Field Marshal Helmuth Von Moltke the Elder
What has been conspicuous by its absence in most of the conflicts the USA has engaged in since, and including Vietnam, has been the will to win. To do what it takes to secure the defeat of the enemy. Heretofore there has been no will to win the war against ISIS, only to contain it in some fashion, presumably until the Jihadists grow weary of the game and give up. As Dr. Phil is wont to say “how’s that working out for you?” US operations against ISIS up to this point have been desultory, timid, disjointed and consequently indecisive. Has this changed?
President Trump has everyone confounded: he’s doing what he said he was going to do.
The Leftist counterpoint is that if we don’t allow Muslim migrants to flood into our country and live at U.S. taxpayer expense they will become angry with us and want to kill us. Oh, of course, that’s precisely why we should let such hostile and volatile people in the door. Right?

Police make urgent plea for help as violent crime spirals
No snitching in the Malmo ghetto.
“Reinforcements from Sweden’s National Operations Department deployed in Malmö last week in an effort to help tackle the “upward spiral of violence” in the city. According to the police chief, Malmö police officers are currently investigating 11 murders and 80 attempted murders, as well as “other crimes of violence, beatings, rapes, thefts and frauds”.”
