‘Trumpocalypse’
Bomb-shelter builder stays busy as customers prep for ‘Trumpocalypse’

Life styles of the rich and paranoid…

“Those in power see people at the bottom as aliens whose bizarre emotions they must try to manage. “

- Peggy Noonan, Columnist, Aug. 11, 2016

"I thought we had more time."

- Stefan Molyneux

The Masters of the Universe are spooked. They know they have made a mess of things and now they know that WE, the unwashed masses, know they have made a mess of things. So they are building retreats where they can hide out when the peasants with the pitchforks, torches and hanging rope finally do come for them.

The story about ultra-wealthy Silicon Valley types buying land where they can hunker down raises immediate questions — what the heck do the tech rich have to fear anyway? They are on top of the world with wealth and influence, plus they can afford to buy a house in Palo Alto. As it happens, the tech elites fear public fury over the jobless future they have created with automation and artificial intelligence. There’s not a whole lot to be done about the automated future beyond survival prepping, but Washington could at least end immigration, which is being made obsolete by advanced technology.

Glad to see Steve Sailer is making the rounds here as well.

On one hand, the reality of collapse is terrible. On the other hand, I'm willing to pay the price if in exchange we can cull the herd.

This could have been avoided if, in terms of natural selection, we took the wheel after we kicked out Nature from the driver's seat. But since we effectively banned eugenic policies, we will find probably find the bitch back at the wheel and in a foul mood after hanging off the bumper.

When the rabbits outgrow their environment, pandemic arrives, or you are eaten by the coyotes that follow the same cycle, the Eagles, Vulture, Raven, clean up from there.

I commented here about the rich and powerful bunkering up :

In short, if/when they emerge from their bunkers after a few years following the collapse of society, they might find that the world has changed and the survivors will not be particularly amenable to being ordered around by their self styled superiors. They might just (gasp!) look on them like the Morlocks looked at the Eloi (H. G. Wells novel "The Time machine").

It should be an interesting time all round ... >};o)
