Swedish Village Says it would rather have Hell's Angels than Refugees

The Hell’s Angels biker gang at the local clubhouse were better neighbors than the Muslim refugees it seems. Imagine that.
- We much rather want Hells Angels than refugees
The municipality wants to make a Hells Angels house into a reception center for unaccompanied refugee children, which has made the neighbours furious.
The protests have hailed against Nacka Municipality outside Stockholm, after it became clear that the council wants to make a new reception center for unaccompanied minor asylum seekers in Saltsjö-Boo, reports SVT.
The premises have previously been used as a meeting place for the motorcycle club Hells Angels, and several emails the Swedish broadcaster SVT has gained access to, show that the residents of the district strongly oppose the change:
"I'm not going to dare to let my wife go outdoors in the garden or go home alone from work. I will not dare to let our daughters come to visit. Are we forced to move to another municipality? Do you understand what you are doing? We live right here in Nacka because it is safe," says one of the emails.

Bikers are likely to survive The End. The criminal element thrived in the USSR and put on double-breasted grey flannel and Oxfords when the Wall came down.

Good people hopefully will coalesce around religion or extended family to survive.

I agree on this assessment.

Like any prison, day-to-day life is largely run by the gulag's criminal gangs, working collaboratively with guards.

The best film I know on the factional politics of prison is "Un prophète" (2008). Trade-off your humanity with the gang, or die. It's also good at showing how criminal empires can be successfully managed by powerful lifers behind bars, with active or passive help from administrators.

N.b.: "Drawings from the Gulag" by Danzig Baldaev were penned by an employee in the system, not a dissident or inmate. The drawings weren't to elicit a political end, having been published posthumously and long after the fall of the Evil Empire. There are far more truculent ones involving women and Kommissars, but the images simply can't be unseen. The cost of curiosity is inexpungable sadness.
