Dogs will be available for adoption

Dozens of dogs rescued from a dog meat farm in South Korea have arrived in the United States.

After landing late Saturday at New York's Kennedy Airport, the dogs were headed for shelters in New York, Maryland and Pennsylvania. The shelter in Maryland receiving some of the dogs is the Animal Welfare League of Queen Anne's County, according to the Humane Society International.
