From The Diary Of Koyama Kiwiwojo

Air bombing and naval bombardment continued an indescribable scene of desolation was presented around our gun positions.

Nagi and 4 men were killed,

We became an SNLP [1] after the completion of our duties.

Seven of nine army tanks have been knocked out.

This being navy day, I expected not much action to be taken, but we launched an offensive,

We have no ammo, no food,

How long will our lives last?
