dear mr. lafond,
thanks so much for your continued writing. i saw your article on james c. scott's work on wheat, which i haven't read. his work on rice-based societies and those who escaped them was fascinating and instructive. i highly recommend it.
regards.

[Thanks, Bob! the book Plagues and Peoples made me very curious about rice-based societies as maco-parasituc entities competing with micro-parasitic entities, with the liver fluke the ultimate compromise.]

Dear Mr LaFond,
I've been slowly working my way through several of your books and really enjoying them (American Fist and The Punishing Art are arriving soon) as well as your YouTube videos.
I just wanted to drop a line and wish you a Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy 2020.
Warm regards from the UK,
Jeth
