My young Jamaican boss just sent me a brief video trailer of a Latina named Melissa mugging him in the ring.
For some time Oliver has been working on the 1 Round Boxing project.
This involved me writing the manual, which he still has to finish editing and coding before posting.
It also involves him interviewing and sparring with elite fighters, which I think is a good duel-use of that acorn-colored motorcycle helmet on his shoulders.
I like Melissa's guard for a southpaw, keeping that rear leg lined up with the target so she can easily lead with the straight left and step around the orthodox lead foot.
She seems a nice girl and it was nice to see her laughing.
Interviewing fighters in the gym is the only way to go.
What a nice gym.
Oh, I wish she would have been hitting harder, but that head is very dangerous and she has a fight soon...

I know this is OT but since we last talked we're evacuated from our place. We've been sitting in a cow pasture....a really cool place though and beyond all expectation...for 15 days now. Two more fires have broken out in the area since.

Still in this wonderous 20 acre meadow. Extreme fire weather warnings and power shutoffs for a few day and record heat. Glad you're missing this one. It's hard on me. I collapse in the afternoons and rise after dark.
The field is an interesting place to think. Like life is a battlefield where you can sort the carnage as you sit. The plants here look marvelous.
