The Most Politically Incorrect Doll Ever
Amelia starring Karen Black

If you have read my review of Richard Matheson’s short story ‘Prey’ titled ‘He Who Kills’ you will surely find this of interest. The makers of this TV adaptation of Prey were surprisingly scrupulous about remaining faithful to the original story.
What was really cool about this is that one could once make a TV show negatively depicting a Zuni Indian Warrior Fetish Doll—and that it has not been banned from YouTube. Today Native Americans –and even their hunting fetishes I dare say—cannot be depicted as warlike. More importantly, note the choice of wood! Is that mahogany?
Recalling how the black liberals in this country when nuts over the film Avatar, because the blue aliens had braided hair—supposedly portraying low tech people according to black beauty standards, even though the story was clearly based on the fate of the America Indians and their habitat—I could only imagine what Americans of all heroic pigmentations would have to say about Amelia today. At least she didn’t slather him with the Sweet Baby Ray’s before she slammed him in the oven.
Rather than have me review this thing, how about if you give it a go.
