Fat Girl Dancing
The Author's Outline
© 2014 James LaFond
SEP/5/14
I should have this novella completed by September 12th, since I just scored a proof-reader/editor who can take care of proofing my next three Sunset Novels. This novella is entirely based on a pretty crazy dream I had when I was 14 years old about going out to look for a summer job. The Martha May Wilson character is based on a young lady that gave me a ride back to my parent's house after finding me jogging on a country road. I never met her again so fleshed her out through interviews with a couple of women concerning road rage issues, and even fantasies, that they harbor.
If you note the page numbers in the table of contents this will indicate the amount of work I have left to do on the text. As soon as I post this and retag Fat Girl I will copy and upload Chapter Two onto the site which is 8 pages, and has been written as a separate document. When I have proofed and published it online, I will proof it again, then copy and paste it to the book. This is the system I use for converting ongoing serials into books, utilizing the backend editing features that Charles has set up for me, which facilitate better proofing through the view feature than the Word 7 program I write on.
