No Agon for Old Men, is being scratched, for want of young men. However, on the very same day, Saturday, November 1, at 4:00 p.m. those who wish may appear at Mister Jim Frederick’s Kenpo Karate on the basement level of the Schaefer Building at 8641 Loch Raven Blvd, Towson, MD, 21286, and fight for the right to a cool Spartan style steel helmet, donated by Dominick Mattero.
Each fighter makes a $10 donation to the school and his friends and family may attend for free.
There will be one round of combat per fighter.
The most junior fighter picks his preferred weapon set. We then fight in ascending order according to the round-robin double-elimination, last man standing format, with the last man scoring 3 points minus the number of times he was taken out [or 1 thru 3 points].
We finish when we finish.
PS: Could someone please find a cup large enough to accommodate Cory’s junk so that we don’t remove it. Here’s looking out for the next generation of Vikings.
