‘A Rusty Tin Can Marks Each Grave’
Untold Story of the Iraq War ~ Commandos, Dirty Wars and Col James Steele by Guardian Films

If you are interested in the militarized police model and its evolution the story of Super Creep James Steele and the ‘third force concept’ as a step beyond law enforcement is a must view.
I don’t know where Steele is now, but would not be surprised if he was advising somewhere in ‘The Homeland’ today. Hopefully this man ‘who lacks human feeling’ is still overseeing some overseas hell, but I would not be surprised to see him in the background when the dissident blogger roundups start in 2018. More mundanely, if you are curious as to why Sunni Muslims in Iraq and Syria so hate the U.S. some of the answers are here in this documentary.
General Adnan Thabit has to be the most surreal interview—I would love to play Empires in Arms with this guy! Almost as bad is Diablo Rumsfeld trying to edit U.S. military ethics guidelines right in front of a gathering of reporters. To his credit the military spokesman did not back down from his assertion that U.S. armed forces personnel who witness torture are honor bound to not only report it but try and stop it on the spot.
