I have a number of friends and family members who work at Johns Hopkins. It is rather interesting that this elitist institution with socialist leanings supports so many scientific studies that conclude that single mothers raising children is not ideal. It is clear to anyone who gets to know any of the numerous civil hard working Latino and African people who immigrate to Baltimore from dirt poor countries, that money is perhaps the least important indicator of a well-adjusted teenager. Indeed, if this person also knows any of the numerous drug addicted non-productive children of the wealthy from the outlying suburbs, one might conclude that material wealth is bad for character development.
Check out the article below. I can personally attest to the fact that most of the young people emerging from the Baltimore ghetto and the posh suburbs surrounding them are so emotionally dysfunctional as to be of little worth as a food market employee assigned to the most basic tasks, and to be nigh uncoachable as athletes.
