“Living primitive means having a working knowledge of the rocks and minerals in the environment that can influence how well you live in the outdoors.”
T.R. Zimmermann is an ethno-botanist and inorganic medicine specialist who does outdoor education seminars and articles. What I really enjoyed about this article is that over half of it is devoted to a fictional account of a band of primitives making camp on the banks of a river.
With the effects of rock selections amply demonstrated in this fictional sketch the author moves on to four brief sections on the origin, nature and uses of limestone.
I look forward to enjoying more of these easily accessible articles on the primitive setting.
