[Based on a couple of comments by readers, one of which is at the bottom, I think I was wrong to call the whites in this film 'Pathetic', but will retain the original text. The smaller white person appears, on closer inspection, to be a female, and that changes everything.]
Welcome to the African American Ethical Zone when it comes down on Whitey's side. Keep in mind that every day, in every majority black American urban enclave, that many black men are beaten down by groups of black men in service to their ever devolving simian ethos. They are more likely to target blacks than whites as that is totally off the police radar. The important thing to note, is this is how this guy has been treated by other black men with which he is not bonded, and is likely a cause for his generic unfocused aggression against smaller, weaker non-cohesive whites—who come off as pathetic on this video.
The most important thing a lone white can do is stand up to him and make certain not to attract the ire of the predatory group hovering around, by, for instance, not using the one word that the group uses to describe him. Those guys are dangerous even when just having fun. When the lead thug tells the fool that if he starts it up against, "it's over" that means he will be stomped into a coma.
James, why did you think the whites looked so pathetic? Bearded man was obviously protecting his friend (cohesion!), who looked very young, and he did it effectively. The other white/hispanic just minded his own business, something you counsel.
You are right J.R. I thought the little twerp was a guy, but a friend who sent me the link said it was a woman, in which case, the bearded guy did okay. I am a sexist. If the small timid person were a dude, as I originally thought, I would still be critical of him. But he is a her, and she gets a pass. More aggressive defenses by the bearded mate might have brought in the other blacks on the side of the guy they ended up beating.
Maybe pathetic is a bit strong but there is a weakness seen here, this guy was willing to use his body as a shield for his girl but was still passive in his defense. A caribbean latino would have responded quite differently to this with his female and in a superior fashion to the white. I would not be surprised if the said female friend secretly was ashamed of her 'protector' deep down inside..another reason to reject female companionship!

Honestly weak is a far more appropriate term than pathetic. I want to retain the pathetic remark from the original post because that came from the gut, and demonstrates that I am not always the calculating creature a writer has a tendency to make himself out to be.
