‘The Coddling of the American Mind,’ our current crop of ‘Lunacy movements,’ the PC term ‘womyn,’ micro-aggressions, the breakdown of civil discourse, the 44 to 1 liberal to conservative ratio in sociology, religiosity and the content of prayer, and cognitive illusion, are among the subjects of this discussion between Joe Rogan and professor Gad Saad.
I have found it interesting, and instructive, that when fielding comments on this site, other than a few straight boxing questions, I rarely come across a real name attached to a comment, no matter how harmless, responsible and inoffensive the comment is.
The chill is in, but Rogan does not think it will last. He sees the other side of cloudy times, suggesting that the thing the broadcast media has become is being eclipsed by a freer online media. He also goes on an interesting tangent about psychedelic drugs, which I found fascinating.
Joe Rogan offers a window for open discussion for Professor Saad, who discussed a number of behavioral science studies that run counter to the current academic orthodoxy.
