Puffing and Looming
The Single Dude’s Guide to Survival, Volume 9
© 2015 James LaFond
NOV/15/15
This installment of the survival guide begins the crucial study of antagonist behaviors, utilizing, as the tactical reference, a new, and excellent YouTube video of an older small boxer—seemingly a featherweight—knocking out two big young men.
I am so thrilled to be doing this survival guide, because it is essentially the middle-aged rewrite of my first published book, The Fighting Edge, which is out of print.
Check out this installment at the link below and be sure to view the video.

James,

Your observations parallel those of Dr. David Grossman the esteemed Army psychiatrist and author of "On Killing". He would describe puffing as posturing. Grossman expands on fight or flight to include posturing and submitting when dealing with interpersonal violence. As to the video, nice hand work, wicked hook and a testament to the value of agression and going all in when the shit goes down.
