Sean recently gave a sizable donation to:
“That Fellow's James LaFond,
Slumming in a Negroid Pond.”
-The Red Skull
The generous donation came with the following stipulation:
“We’d like you around for a while, so you can pass on these arts before you kick the bucket. So please, no more ghetto pot pies. Buy yourself some decent food and live a little longer.”
Thank you, Sean, and I will do so. Ishmael and Shayne are older than I am, and I’d feel terrible if they had to carry me down off some mountain next year.
Thus far I have purchased green tea bags, herbal tea bags, three pounds of oats and a pound of raisins, two bags of dried lentils, two bags of frozen mixed vegetables, two bags of split peas, and two bunches of garlic.
I added this order to my present larder of figs [a 12 once bag], two packs of all beef hotdogs that I bought and froze the day they went out of date for a reduced price, three cans of white tuna and a jar of peanut butter.
You can keep up with my delicious meal recipes as they come to aromatic fruition!
I have a microwave, a coffee pot, and a 2-quart crock pot stacked on top of my little refrigerator.
Thanks again, Sean
PS: I hope to be light enough to box [spar, not compete] by spring.
Ha! Never has my poetic ham inspired such juicy substance. Eat hearty; brains do not live by books alone.
You are very welcome. I look forward to rewarding sparring sessions with James 2.0!
Mr Lafond, longtime reader here. Since you mentioned owning a crockpot, I thought I'd give you a heads up; fellow crackpot Jamie Lewis over at Chaos and Pain has had a series of posts highlighting stews eaten by various warrior cultures. Thought there might be some overlap of interest between you fellow travelers.
NSFW, as the author punctuates with porn and gore. He's also sympathetic towards cannibalism. chaosandpain.blogspot.ca/2013/07/why-go-cannibal.html

Congratulations, Bayonet
You have made me feel like a boy scout.
That does not happen often.
I will check this site out.
