This is the best article posted on takimag that I can recall, a brilliant piece of writing. David Cole outlines two incidents where elderly white men had the gall to defend themselves against young white dope fiends. Although he touts these as victories for the cause of one day establishing a right of self-defense in these toxic Chromatic States, it is clear, that had the young people who attacked these old men been black, then the old guys would be spending the rest of their years in court and behind bars.

In my crackpot opinion:

Rights are fantasies, childhood wishes that our masters will let us act according to a higher ethos than theirs.

In any case, self-defense is beneath us.

Self-defense does not go far enough.

Unless there is a right to vengeance than no other rights are worth fighting for.
