James, please do not divulge my location. I want you to know what area I live in in case it helps you with your work. Suffice it to say that I live in a Baltimore County residential community with 10% black residence. It is strange that houses that go on the market are sometimes quickly sold when others languish for years, end then a black welfare family that could never afford such a home is soon in residence. Enough of these families have materialized in the neighborhood that we have small gangs of black boys vandalizing cars, lazing along in the middle of the street on their bikes and scowling at white motorists, daring us to affirm our right of way.

My car was stoned by a group of them and my son in law got in his car and stalked them around the neighborhood. They knew what he was up to and gradually removed themselves by street and alley, until they attacked another white man’s vehicle. This man was so upset by this he took one of them off of his bike and then ran over the bike with his truck. In response two white women called the police on this man and he was in deep trouble for opposing this pint-sized reign of terror.

We now have unknown—and sometimes hooded and masked—black men walking the streets menacingly.

There is a nice black woman who lives across the street, a foster mother with a retarded teenage girl—a younger teenager—who goes from yard to yard and peers within, taking inventory on a note pad! I told a woman who is in a leadership position in the neighborhood association about this and she blew it off as child’s play, thinking that I was overreacting.

There is one man flying the American and Confederate flag from a pole in his yard who seems determined to resist. Thank God for him.
