There are three reasons why this aggressor is only facing minor charges:

1. She is a woman.

2. She is black and is therefore regarded as having no ability to control herself and is not considered responsible for her actions.

3. She did not punch, but slapped. Any man can take advantage of this last factor by not clenching his fist, for U.S. case law was developed when boxing was the most popular sport and the clenched fist has gone down into case law as intent to do harm.
