Good Brush: The Art of Craig Mullins
© 2016 James LaFond
FEB/3/16
For some of the most astonishing artwork I have seen posted online, do yourself a favor and check out the link below. Of course, my favorites are the Mogul parade and the pirates. I do wish that the titles of these works had been listed.
My journey through Craig’s site was a wonderful feast for the eyes.
The following link was suggested by a guest on this site as a possible cover for one of my novellas, but I would not insult Craig with an offer I could afford
Art is much more lucrative and in demand than literature, which is why I no longer solicit art, as something that takes a man like Craig or Joseph days to do is going to cost more than a self-published author makes in a year.
We can always fantasize though, about what kind of cover Baen or Del Ray would commission for our book just before the parent company pulled the title due to the presence of a slave girl, or a non-white villain, or any other number of blasphemies…

That guy is really good. Thank goodness someone is doing something besides splashing paint on canvas and calling it art.

The artists work is nothing short of spectacular. The detail is breath taking , One has the feeling you could reach out and touch .... His works probably doesn't come cheap . Having a bacround in art as I do , I found myself enthralled in some of his paintings . Stuck in what is going on .
