‘The Rotting Icing on a Decaying Cake’
[A Case for the Zombie Apocalypse] Zombie Nation: Day of the Metaphysical Flesh Eaters by Eirik Bloodaxe

Reading from Zombie Apocalypse Mutant Biker Fighters: The Science, Philosophy, Weaponry and Bullshittery of the Collapse of Civilization and the Rise of Neo-Barbarianism, page 1-37, by a man who must have a job he wants to keep and therefore has written this hefty 185,000-word tome under a penname.
I promised a reader that I would read his book and let him know what I think, and was quite keen on it, until I opened the file and saw that it was almost 500 pages of small type!
Then I got to reading it, and was very impressed with the almost academic tone and attention to detail, delivered in a brutally humorous style. The footnotes account for half of the content, with the numerous annotations providing a wealth of knowledge.
In this lengthy preface, Eirik Bloodaxe makes a convincing case that we are undergoing an actual zombie apocalypse. He lays out two competing theories, that this is a physical event, or that it is a metaphorical event, with both holding more than enough water to convince this crackpot.
The number of entries on cannibalism—much of it current!—is astonishing, demonstrating a level of research that betokens long hours at the computer. I have already cited Zombie Apocalypse Mutant Biker Fighters in one of my books, and will be using it as a resource, and promise to review each section in its turn. Eirik, I hope you get this thing published. However, if you want a publisher to print it, you should consider breaking it into Two Volumes. This is a big, big book. Congratulations and keep it up.
