Africans in France terrify French Women with replica Guns to expose "Racism"
You know, Mescaline, if I stabbed this guy I’d go to prison. But, if he tried this in Baltimore he would probably get shot by a distant cousin long before he got around to getting shanked by a Neanderthal.

I live in SW France. There's a good chance if this was tried around my way the woman would run into the farmhouse and come out with a shotgun. They're very well armed around here, just no concealed carry.

I am so very glad to hear from you, Grasspunk.

I am stuck with a French name, after all, and loved reading about The Legion estranger as a boy, and would like to hear that a French woman pitchforked some invader, as opposed to reporting this.

Thanks.

Out here in the country they're a tough lot. Most French guys have done military service since it was compulsory until a decade ago or thereabouts. Rugby is big, as is hunting. Shotguns on every farm. It's nothing extraordinary, just regular rural folk. I imagine the US equivalent would be similar with football replacing rugby.

Do you know which part of France your Lafond family came from? There seem to be a fair few in the SW.

My LaFonds came south from Canada about 1900, where most of them went to Illinois. I boxed one of those guys, and they are physically more robust. The fact is, my LaFonds were the small eastern branch. I have no clue about ultimate European frog origin. My grandmother, Alberta Roy, hated the French Canadians. Her father, Elzear had been an English orphan sold to French Canadians. Ironically she married my Grandfather LaFond in Fall River Mass, and he never let her forget her hate by calling her "Roy" whenever he wanted her attention. They were the sweetest people I ever knew and seemed so meek next to the Irish and German descendants that comprised my mother's side of the family.

This showed up yesterday: youtube.com/watch?v=1jhSE-pDEtQ

The rural French are not the Parisian French, and even then the country French are so varied that it is hard to generalize. These folk are Normans.
