On Saturday 16, Jim Frederick is entertaining two FMA instructors at his American Kempo school, for a private event and has requested an hour of our fighting time.
Charles and James will do a ten minute sparring demonstration of the various stick combinations.
Erique will be fighting for a half hour versus Charles, as well as Craig and Brett. This will be a test session for Erique, with him selecting the weapon sets in advance and being seconded by James. We will be hoping to set up some stick and dagger bouts.
The fighters will engage in a round robin set of knife versus rolled magazine or small stick.
James will announce the bouts for the next day’s meet, which will replace our normal training and should feature Charles and James going at it in a set of stick fights for the last time.
The time for the Sunday meet is not set, but will be between 1-3 p.m.
