For the low brow, investigative comedy that is much of the Harm City genre I have decided to continue Habitat Hoodrat as a series, beginning with Habitat Hoodrat: Ho-Nation, which shall, of course, by followed by Yo-Nation, Retard-Nation, etc.
I have commissioned a cover from a black friend of mine, and given him three days to get it to me. I hope he makes the deadline in my rampant mind so that I will be able to credit a victim of my pale privilege with the insulting graphics I have in mind. He and I discussed the possibility that I might be hauled before Congress in pink breast cancer awareness chains and put on trial before Oprah and assorted dykes, white faɡɡots, emasculated negroes and mouthy hos, for my literary crimes.
Oliver said, “James, I would very much like to see that congressional hearing.”
I responded, “See it—Bro? You’d be in it, as my character witness, my ‘black friend,’ though I presume I’d have a hard time explaining away the fact that I beat you with a stick…”
Look for Habitat Hoodrat: Ho-Nation this coming week.
