‘An Enterprising Business Model’
A Social Media Post by Ron Long and the Fate of the Baynesville and Ridgley Oak Communities

Below is a post forwarded to me by a resident of the Baltimore County neighborhood where I coach boxing and weaponry. This neighborhood, Ridgley Oak, is far worse off than some nearby and closer to the city for the following reasons:
-It is at the terminus of a major bus route, boxed in by highways, a forest and watercourses.
-It is situated adjacent to, and is structurally contiguous with a commercial crossroads.
-The commercial center is home to two motels that have been superseded by chain hotels, and have adapted by becoming drug dens, online brothel meet lockers and temporary housing for criminals recently released from Towson County Lockup—and via Towson—from the Hagerstown penitentiary in Western Maryland.
-The #3 line that ends at these motels terminates at the Inner Harbor, where it shares a stop with the #64 line, which is a local distribution conduit for drugs being shipped up from D.C. and Virginia, making Baynesville, the small commercial center at the #3 line terminus, an ideal hub to distribute drugs to affluent whites from nearby upscale communities.
-With no bus line traversing the two primary perpendicular streets, Putty Hill, and Joppa Road, and no pedestrian access to Greater Parkville to the east, the resulting crime will tend to concentrate within a half mile radius.
-Of the 1946-58 brick town homes built in this formerly choice area of Baltimore County, this grid features the lowest value structures, that are often rented, including a two block segment of dedicated rentals next to the primary street.
-This four by five block neighborhood is laid on a grid pattern and has well-maintained service alleys, making it an ideal hoodrat habitat.
-Baltimore City targeted this area four years ago for resettlement of some of its worst undesirables.
-10% of the residence are middleclass blacks with media conscious, emasculated male youth, who are prime targets for recruitment into gangs by transplanted ghetto hard cases.
-This neighborhood is fairly doomed, with three houses for sale visible immediately upon entering the north-most side street.
Below is the location where I buy my six pack on Friday, and where muggings have become frequent over the last six months. The store was recently robbed at gunpoint and has a huge single serve selection, which is a bad sign. Pairs of men in ski masks patrol at dusk, unmolested by the police, who focus their attention to the west and south, content to contain this infection.

People have told me about this and I think I can confirm it.
It looks like Ridgeleigh has an enterprising business model in place that is getting the attention of the residents. Just like ordering food from PeaPod, it looks like you can order and get drugs delivered. This method of delivery is not new. What's new, is it so blatantly obvious it's sparked the attention of many in the neighborhood.
Signs to look out for-
Gatherings of people in an area where there tends not to be a gathering spot. It could happen in front of YOUR home!
People on cell phones- "Getting the word out"
An abundance of activity- Bikes, walkers hanging around within the local area just hanging out "waiting"
You may notice bikes or stragglers standing watch a block away.
A vehicle pulls up, you will notice that the activity shifts toward the vehicle with people taking turns either going to the vehicle or getting in and out. This activity does not last long, as the people conclude their business they depart the area.
The area is usually covered with trash when they leave. This has nothing to do with the deals just the disrespect for the residents and the neighborhood.
This activity has been noticed on Oak and RedOak over the last couple of weeks.
As the weather gets better, more opportunities exist for the residents to report suspicious activities.
If you suspect this is taking place, call 911. We are the eyes and ears of the 911 system. It won't work with out us! Try to get license numbers and descriptions of people and vehicles. Do not put yourself at risk.
