Throughout these interviews, Sowell repeatedly refers to the U.S. as a democracy, which will turn most viewers off. And yes, the U.S, is officially a republic. But Sowell knows that America has gone the way of Athens and is, in effect, a democracy managed by demagogues.

Thomas Sowell is a good scholar, a fair writer and the only dude in America allowed to speak the truth, so he is a man well worth listening to. Those kids of servicemen were raised by German women. thus they were exposed to the same formative culture. one that has strong expectations from children
I used to read all of Thomas Sowell books and articles. Then he wrote book where he said the reason Blacks were violent was they were from the culture of White Southerners. A simple look at the criminal, assault or whatever rates of Blacks and Southern Whites would show that to be untrue. I haven't read a single thing of his since. The truth is in most all cases Blacks will stick up for Blacks against Whites. They might in a few cases but ultimately they look after their own first. The White belief that everyone should be treated the same and always given the benefit of a doubt will be our downfall as everyone else is looking to promote their group at the expense of others. Would be nice if that wasn't the case but things are what they are and you can't change everyone else to suit your mental construct.
Further to Marko's point, servicemen are required to score a certain minimum on an IQ test for draft or enlistment, and by virtue of their parents, those kids are at minimum 50% and likely 70% or more European. Germans also have a higher average IQ than the European average itself.
