‘Getting on Board’
A Modern Agonistics Fighter is Writing for an MMA Webzine

On Saturday morning Oliver called me with two questions: “How can I get a fight with Triple-G’s first opponent, because I know I could beat that guy?”
Yes, Oliver, and I could have outpointed one of Mike Tyson’s early opponents. But these tomato cans are not to be dinged by the likes of us any more than you can sit your dog at the table at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse. I will address this in its own place.
I was really thrilled about his next question,
“I just got hired by this MMA webzine to write an article a day, how can I do that?”
Easy, write every other day, can a concept or human interest article, and send a timely news article. The next day—or at the same time—send the concept article. If you keep everything under 500 words you will find that you sometimes end up doing a part 1 and part 2 post. When you do this, part 2 goes the next day and your concept piece goes in the bank for a day you can’t come up with anything. I suggest writing three days per week, doing three articles a day for a total of 800-1,000 words.
God luck, man, and don’t forget to answer my challenge in the following link. Writing about that could be an article...
