Charles just introduced me to this quirky site that promotes local sports, music and sarcasm. The blogger appears to be a local youth counselor named Bishop. He seems to be filling in some of the vacuum left by The City Paper, a free alternative weekly that did not survive the Mayan Apocalypse. There is some light commentary and even a touch of the investigative impulse, combined with sport and concert ads and announcements.
The best part about this site by far is the record of Bishop’s conversations with real Baltimore area teens. This segment fits in with my non-violent Harm City pieces like Supaman! Whipped! and Harm City Lite.
