Yesterday I received a parcel—another book from S.S. Sam, with a sticky note stating that Sam hoped the book—particularly the marked chapter—might help me with what has seemed to be a haunting or some kind of sleep deprivation-induced anomaly I described in an article. For, more often lately, and beginning in 2006—and seemingly intensifying as my writing gets better—is a phenomenon that has worried me somewhat, of dark streaks, small shadows, sometimes like flying brown mice, darting to and through my extreme peripheral vision.
The book is:
The Active Side of Infinity
By Carlos Castaneda, author of The Teachings of Don Juan
Thank you, Sam.
I will review this book after it has hopefully put my experience in better perspective.
