Gregory hood is quick becoming my favorite columnist. The only thing I have to add to this article is that Brazil has one thing that America lacks: testicles. I’ll take Hell as a man over Heaven as an eunuch.

Brazil—as Mister Hood points out—is an excellent model for ancient style social stratification in a technology-driven economy, with the poor ripping into each other while the rich fortify, which leaves no place for the middle and working class.
