James, apparently the trend in Harm City you identified of crimes of violence being more likely to be perpetrated in close proximity to a police station than elsewhere holds true in other major cities.
Now I know to be on my guard whenever I approach a big city police station, court house or municipal building (or to avoid doing so altogether). Thanks!

The early morning shootings wounded six people, one victim is currently listed in serious condition at Hennepin County Medical Center with a gunshot wound to the chest.
Although police have not identified any suspects in the first shooting, one man was taken into police custody in connection with the second shooting. Police are working to determine if the man has ties to the first shooting or to the handgun the recovered from the parking lot near the police precinct.
Interestingly enough, Schmidt told reporters this morning that all six victims have been and remain “uncooperative” with the investigation.
