Yes, Di. In fact multiple animals were released by members of the Hoodrat Anti-Vivisection Society. The children's train was also ridden out of the zoon and off into the night by drunken men. Unfortunately, no elephants or large predators were released to restore some ecological balance to the area. If my memory serves me correctly, at least one zebra and a lama were released. I thought this was a touching choice of animals—a Hispanic beast of burden and a mixed-race horse from Africa seemed to suggest concern about the political correctness of the rescuer's actions. I saw the photos on Columbine Joe's Facebook page via his smart phone.
