But being hated is part of the program, isn’t it? The Church is IN the world but not OF the world. As such it is ultimately supposed to follow transcendent truth and not fashion or Political Correctness. To be a moral leader requires one possess the moral courage to say ‘no’ and mean it when people demand you give them permission to break the rules.

The Catholic Church's ban on female priests will stand forever, Pope Francis said Tuesday.

Some folks just won't give up. Hey, go see the episcopals, in their more progressive arms, anything goes.
The Pope (despite what the enlightened believe) can't change certain beliefs in the church. Period. So get with it, or get going.
