Best thing I've seen from Pravda in awhile:
The old historian is delusional if he thinks that the Valve House is gonna be used as a "coffee shop" by the community but it's a pretty cool little blurb with some neat history of an architectural nod to a more sane era.
Take care,
Nero
Thanks, Nero.
The last time Mescaline Franklin came to town we went down to Clifton Park so he could photo the Valve House, which he was captivated with on a previous trip, but had run out of battery. As I waited by the car, a Dindu buck left school early and slouched on by, looking at us as if we were police detectives or something. So, when he got back to the car, I said, "Look, school is about to let out. If you don't want to be dodging spears like the Color Sergeant Major at Roorke's Drift we need to roll."
He said, "They fuckin' put one of those penitentiary's here, in this beautiful park?"
The funny thing is, back in 1988, I trained the only white kid that went to this school. After knocking out four Dindus in two attacks, three right by the Valve House, after school and one in the lockerroom during school, he was expelled for the crime of being white and able to fight. So the Valve House has its own sacral significance to this old heathen.
—Bro, it's 6:45 and we have six cop cars screaming up the street. Ringside seats are great!
