I'm sorry, did I misspell Guerilla and prosecution?
I apologize to both of the aggrieved parties.
Justin Fenton is the only thing that redeems The Baltimore Sun newspaper from its editorial insanity. What an excellent crime reporter Justin is. In his article titled "Feds take another crack at gang" Justin points out the following sobering numbers:
-More than 12 of the 48 BGF members charged in sweeping indictments had charges dropped.
-Only a "handful" were slapped with sentences exceeding 5 years, even for conspiracy to commit murder.
-38 of these Dindus were tried under a State gang statute.
-Only two of this notorious bloody-handed gang received murder sentences, with the rest mostly being acquitted and then lightly sentenced based on retrial on lesser crimes under the State's gang statute.
-9 of these gang members are being charged with federal racketeering charges, with one still at large.
-The entire pool of defendants were members of one neighborhood gang cell, based in Barclay, yet the prosecutors for the state have declared comprehensive victory over this gang, even as one ember who beat a murder rap made a rap video threatening to shot the turncoats who snitched on him.
