Of course pedophilia will eventually be normalized in America. We are importing more and more people from third world cultures where pedophilia is commonplace (like Afghanistan… and Mexico). There are obviously many closet pedophiles in both high and low places in our government. Anonymous Conservative postulates that many were recruited and promoted purposely because their dirty little secret would allow them to be controlled. Unfortunately that makes way too much sense given the current political climate. Nevertheless we will soon start to see articles sympathetic to pedophiles, as well as television shows depicting pedophile characters in a favorable light. Eventually the public will be desensitized to pedophilia, both homosexually and as well heterosexually oriented, just as it has been to adult homosexuality.

Louis C.K.’s take on pedophilia is probably right on the mark: whatever thrill pedophiles get from molesting children it is clearly overpowering and trumps all reason and all fear of consequences (which are many, even in our over-tolerant society). So most of them are probably irredeemable. Regardless, the Left will endeavor to normalize the practice in our society if only to completely demoralize and emasculate Conservatives and traditionalists. Plus as Anonymous Conservative maintains, the desire for early sexualization of children is a characteristic of the ‘r’ evolutionary reproductive strategist (i.e. rabbit people), which is the dominate mindset of the political Left. They can relate to the Bacha Bazi practitioners.
