From the “Schadenfreude” department…Keep in mind that media bias is most often demonstrated by what the media chooses NOT to cover. What the media believes is not note worthy or anything that the public needs to be made aware of. For example take the American media’s coverage of the Olympic Games. There are some 302 separate athletic events in the Olympic Summer Games (2012), but barely a dozen of them are given extensive television coverage. Certainly the UN-PC events such as shooting and combat sports, like boxing and wrestling, are given short shrift these days. It was barely mentioned during the recent Rio Games that Kim Rhodes became a six-time Olympic competitor and medal winner in the female trap and skeet shooting events. Outside of the "gun culture” community she is an unknown.
