Interesting. Erma Werke was the arms firm that designed the MP-38 and MP-40 submachineguns for the German Wehrmacht. It went out of business in 1998.  It went bankrupt and was bought out by Suhler und Sportwaffen, a division of Steyr-Mannlicher. The Erma brand name is no longer used. Erma used to sell a lot of these .22 and .25 caliber Walther PPK look-alikes in the USA prior to the enactment of the Gun Control Act of 1968 (GCA68). The GCA68 prohibited the importation of “concealable" handguns. Erma used to manufacture a lot of 8mm blank and teargas firing versions of this same pistol for sale in Europe. I wonder where this little Erma .22 has been sitting for the past 19 or more years?

Italian Police
Makes sense that the Italian cops are allowed to crack heads more and are thus better at it—good luck suing in Italy… It shows that a level of less affluence (unlike Germany) results in men being spiritually healthier in the absence of a real masculine (fascist/NS authority), unlike the weak presence in northern/western Europe.
