1 of Chicago's bloodiest years ends with 762 homicides
Jeremy, I realize that this is your home team and that my Harm City Hoodrats only took down 318, but doesn't Chicago have four times as many targets? That still leaves Harm City with the pound-for-pound title, right?

Notice how quickly and easily the Dindu burglars smash in the front door. In broad daylight too. I’ll bet the neighbors “didn’t see or hear anything” either.

Vanessa Herring News Reporter: Woman shot in front of children in home invasion dies
Officers found Tijae Barnes on Dec. 22 at a home in the 3600 block of Lyndale Avenue after a shooting. Police said she was dead as a result of being shot.
Officers learned that two masked men kicked in Barnes' back door, came into her home and shot her while there were children in the upstairs area of the home. The children, however, did not belong to Barnes.
"Fortunately, the children weren't physically injured, but just imagine being inside of your house when this type of horrific crime occurs, and again, we're talking just a couple days before Christmas," Baltimore police Detective Jeremy Silbert said.
Detectives believe the suspects were targeting someone else who frequents or lives at that home.
"The two suspects entered the home looking for an individual who was not inside and ended up killing the victim, who was not the intended target in this case," Silbert said. "We believe that there may have been a relationship between the victim and the person the suspects were looking for."
Homicide detectives identified one of the suspects as 20-year-old Trevante Mahoney. He was arrested Wednesday without incident. Online court records show a 20-year-old man with the name Trevante Mahoney was arrested three other times this year charged with gun and drug possession.
Police said the second suspect was identified as Mahoney's younger brother, 17-year-old Tikoy Mahoney. He was taken into custody. Police didn't say whether they've had contact with Tikoy Mahoney in the past.
Both brothers were taken to the Baltimore police homicide section, where they were interviewed by detectives.
The brothers were taken to Central Booking where they were each charged with first- and second-degree murder, first- and second-degree assault, first-degree burglary and various weapons charges. Both are being held without bond.
Anyone with additional information is asked to call detectives at 410-396-2100, text a tip to 443-902-4824 or call Metro Crime Stoppers at 866-7LOCKUP.
Young girl says her Hatchimal is 'dead'
The Hatchimal is dead!…Oh my gosh! LMAO!
Well isn’t that the way it is so often with the real animals you bring home from the pet store? The next day they’re lying belly up in the cage. It’s one of the lessons of life: the hamster, the goldfish, the plant, they all die…you will too some day.
Another lesson is that the advertisements on TV often make a toy look a lot cooler than it really is. It’s why you should be careful what you spend your money on.
Looks like they’re having some quality control problems wherever they make those Hatchimals. Probably using counterfeit Chinese electronics. Seriously though, those counterfeit substandard parts from overseas are a much bigger drag on our economy than the public realizes. A lot of those parts go into making things that are much more important than some kid’s plastic toy too. Like jet fighters.

Indeed James. One has to say that Harm City consistently punches above its weight class. Still America's Second City did not come in second place this past year when it came to dropping bodies.

You think this is bad I'll tell you about true evil. I got the brain fart about making a baby app for phones. Of course too little too late there's a gazillion of them. As I was looking at some one had really pissed people off. They gave you the app free that had a baby and a supply of cookie food. Here's the hitch, you eventually run out of cookies after the kid has bonded with the baby and played with it for a few weeks. The baby gets sick, no food, and ends up in the hospital and dies, if you don't pay them for food. That is really evil. The bad product might be happenstance but this is planned child destruction.

I'll pit North Dindustan (formerly Detroit) against either city any day. A city of 680K had 302 murders last year, down from 332. I attribute that to the then scarcity of cheap, small caliber ammunition that the Dindus prefer. I have no doubt that North Dindustan will come back strong in '17.

Looks like the Hatchimal is shaping up to be the "Edsel" of the toy industry. The latest reports on them say that they "curse". huffingtonpost.com/entry/cursing-hatchimals_us_5865a0b5e4b0de3a08f7d6a2 The pre-recorded phrase that is supposed to be "hug you" apparently comes out sounding like "fuck you". So if they're not stillborn they come out swearing at you. LOL!
